Nicholas Keung

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Nicholas Keung graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in communications and psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He immigrated to Canada in 1994 with his family and worked for three years as a general assignment reporter at Toronto’s Sing Tao Daily, a Chinese-language newspaper, covering the crime beat and the former Metro Council. He joined the Toronto Star in 1997 and became the paper’s Immigration/Diversity Reporter in 2004.
