Rebecca Fisseha

Rebecca Fisseha arrived in Canada in 1998, from Ethiopia via Europe. As a writer, she submitted Wise Woman of Abyssinia to rock.paper.sistahz III 2004. Inspired by the popular east African legend of King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba, it received a workshop in which Fisseha also performed. Since then Wise Woman has been undergoing development at b current, where she is a member of the rAiz'n the sun training ensemble. Additional works include The Exhibition of Love (r.p.s IV), February (raw materials 2) and Leaving Home, presented at rock.paper.sistahz 5.
