Jonathan Garfinkel is a poet and playwright. He is the author of the book of poetry Glass Psalms (Turnstone Press, 2005) and Walking to Russia (Playwrights Guild of Canada, 2002). His play The Trials of John Demjanjuk: A Holocaust Cabaret, produced by Theatre Asylum, played to enthusiastic audiences and critics in Vancouver, Victoria and Toronto, and has been published by Playwrights Canada Press (2005). Jonathan’s current projects include the play Blind, a political-fantasia that takes place in the West Bank, which had a workshop performance at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa. He is currently doing his M.A. in English at the University of Toronto in the Field of Creative Writing.
