Marjorie Chan is the Artistic Director of Cahoots Theatre, a theatre company celebrating the diversity of Canada, now in its 27th year. A multidisciplinary theatre artist, Marjorie primarily works as a director/dramaturge and playwright/librettist. Her works have been performed in the US, UK, Russia, Hong Kong and across Canada. Marjorie is the recipient of three Dora Awards, the K.M. Hunter Artist’s Award in Theatre, and has been nominated for the Governor General’s Literary Award for her playwriting debut, CHINA DOLL. This season, she is also Senior Playwright-in-Residence at the Banff Centre Playwrights Colony.
