A dozen students at Father John Redmond have been meeting with professional writers for the past month to develop writing skills. Diaspora Dialogues partners with Lakeshore Arts and the Assembly Hall to present an evening of readings and performances of the work developed through the workshops.

On September 13th, these young writers will take to the stage in the Malvern Library to read from new works they created specifically for this event. Six students, Mihilan Sriranjan, Sobana Sriranjan, Khyati “Kathi” Gupta, Alice Chow, Dominic Licorish and Jason Trieu participated in a two-week workshop with an award-winning writer in order to improve their writing skills.
