Amina Farah

Amina Farah is a Somali-Canadian writer who has roots in Nairobi, Vancouver and now calls Toronto home. She has worked as an youth worker and educator in communities across Canada and completed a MFA in creative writing at the University of Guelph. She continues to be inspired to write by her loud family of brilliant storytellers and a deep need, born of her twelve year old nerdy self, to one day check her own book out at the public library.
