Amy Dennis
WRITER/MENTEE
Amy Dennis’s poetry has appeared in more than a dozen Canadian literary publications, such as CV2, Event, Queen’s Quarterly, and Prairie Fire. After graduating with her MFA from UBC, she continued her studies at Harvard and The University of Toronto before moving to the United Kingdom’s Welsh countryside where she currently resides, writing and studying ekphrastic poetry at the PhD level. Her poetry has been nominated for a Random House Creative Writing Award and twice nominated for a National Magazine Award. Dennis is honoured to be a part of the Diaspora Dialogues 2009 Short Form mentorship program with Lee Maracle
