Hardish Dhaliwal

Hardish was born in India, raised in England, and calls Toronto hone. She has a BSc in Mathematics, a Masters in Gender & Development, and a career that has taken her across the world from Bangladesh to Zimbabwe, reading local authors along the way.

Hardish is part of the team behind Draft Reading series. She is an AWA (Amherst Writers & Artists) accredited facilitator, and has been a volunteer facilitator with the Writers Collective of Canada.

While working as a Citizenship Judge, Hardish heard the origin stories of many new Canadians, and this provided additional motivation for her to complete her first novel which is inspired by her parents’ story.
