Janika Oza

WRITER/MENTEE
Janika Oza is a writer based in Toronto.
She is the winner of the 2020 Kenyon Review Short Fiction Contest and the 2019 Malahat Review Open Seasons Award in Fiction. She has received fellowships and support from VONA, Tin House, One Story, the Millay Colony, and the Ontario Arts Council.
She works as a school settlement worker and her first novel, A History of Burning, will be published by McClelland and Stewart in May of 2023.
