Kayal Vvizhi

Kayal Vvizhi is a writer and poet, born and raised in South India and Sri Lanka, currently residing in Mississauga, Canada.Her stories time travel, occupy many geographies, question the validity of borders and are ultimately, borderless.Her short story, ‘Fat with Love’ was published in Room Magazine and ‘Salt’, a piece of creative nonfiction was shortlisted for CBC’s Creative Nonfiction Prize in 2015. Kayal Vizhi has shared her poetry in various storytelling forums in Canada and the United States. She is currently working on a collection of lyric essays.
