Param Chopra

I was born in Jaipur, India to a family of Sikh refugees from Kashmir and Punjab and educated in the humanities and social sciences at McGill University, Montreal, St. Stephens College, Delhi, and the National University of Singapore. Since the mentorship at DD, I have signed the publication rights to a novella – Homecoming – with a Los Angeles based press, Running Wild, and completed my first novel. 

My partner and I live in Montreal, where I am working on a novel and eyeing the ever-growing pile of writing tucked away under pieces of furniture, and on laptops of varying vintages that appear to be on life support.
