Tijiki Morris

Tijiki Morris is a theatre creator who was raised in Pakistan and came to Canada after secondary school. She co-wrote and directed the collaborative creation process of We Walk Among You and Cirqular (Artichoke Heart). She has been an Artist-in-Residence at Mermaid Theatre and Cahoots Playwrights’ Hot House 2012/2013. Recently she assistant directed fu-GEN Theatre’s Sex Tape Project, and previously directed Hope Blitz! (Theatre PasseMuraille:Beyond the Walls). Other creation pursuits include puppetry coaching and building for Shakespeare in High Park/Canstage, Pandemic Theatre and Humber College Theatre. Tijiki also performs, teaches and is a community engaged artist. She is a graduate of Humber College’s Theatre Performance program.
