Vishaal Pathak

WRITER/MENTEE
Vishaal writes short stories and poems, primarily exploring memories—partly true, partly corrupted, and incrementally slipping away. His work has appeared in ARTS by the People, Five on the Fifth, The Kelp Journal, Open Minds Quarterly, Good Printed Things, and Metonym Journal. Themes of love, death, and bullying (as the gateway societal ill) permeate his writing, often unconsciously. He read some of his work at the Emerging Writers Reading Series (2022-23) and was mentored by writer Adam Foulds as part of a manuscript development program at Humber College in 2024.
