William S. Meneses
WRITER/MENTEE
William S. Meneses is an emerging writer and filmmaker, who developed his passion for storytelling in the trenches of Toronto’s independent film scene. Graduating from OCAD University, where his short film Smudged received the SUMO Arts and Technology Award, he recently returned to pursue a Creative Writing minor, studying under professor and dub poet Lillian Allen. William’s work explores the complexity, harshness and haunting beauty of life on the social fringes.
