Diaspora Dialogues in partnership with TD Bank Group joins Toronto’s annual Doors Open festival. The Vault at One King West opens its doors to the public offering a unique look into what was once the Dominion Bank and explore the integral role that banks and financial systems have played in building the infrastructure of our society.

Guests will get the chance to discover this special space while experiencing a video installation, visual timeline and live readings that will delve into the history—both locally and internationally—of currency, markets and financial institutions, as well as engage in a timely discussion about the importance they play in Toronto.

WHEN: May 26 & May 27, 2012
TIME: 10 am–4 pm video installation & visual timeline
11am, 1 pm & 3 pm live readings
WHERE: The Vault @ One King West Hotel & Residence, 1 King Street West

Please join us through this journey tracking our financial history and discuss the impact and advances that have been made and what it means for the future.
