I have a tendency, to take things too seriously I get hot-headed easily; any small spark can set me off like a bomb. I over think every little thing and my mind inflates with worry. The sharp tongues of mean-spirited people pierce through my heart with ease. I am a sensitive girl. My mother used to be like me. She tells me not to take those kinds of things to heart. She tells me that the criticism from others is irrelevant. That those kinds of people are just like leeches, Who feed on the red-sweet wine of youth. She tells me to fill your body with optimism and confidence But empty it of negativity, remorse and self-doubt. And when the leeches try to dig their teeth into your flesh, They curl up and die of starvation.

Your Heart Is Always True…
Don’t think with your heart. Though your heart is powerful, it does not think for itself. Don’t listen to your heart. For all you will hear is a dull muffled rhythm. Don’t trust your heart. When your heart is overwhelmed with things, it will surely fail on you. Think with your brain, not with your heart. Your brain is at the top for a reason. The brain is capable of thinking for itself, It closes itself to the irrelevant words of others, And opens itself to the beneficial. The brain does not produce a dull muffled rhythm, It produces a knowledge called common sense Knowledge that will save you when you decide to think with your heart.
