Kerri Sakamoto is the author of The Electrical Field and One Hundred Millions Hearts, novels which explore the psychological residue of war across generations and the diasporic experience. The Electrical Field received the all-regions Commonwealth Prize for Best First Book and was nominated for numerous other awards. Both books are published in translation in several countries. She lives in Toronto with her family. Kerri is currently completing a multi-generational surrealist tale entitled The Mongolian Spot.
