Alicia Elliott is a graduate of York University's Creative Writing program. Her writing has appeared in numerous anthologies, including TOK 6: Writing the New Toronto and Initiations: A Selection of Young Native Writing. This past year her short story, "Emails to an Invisible Woman" won second place in Enbridge's Aboriginal Arts and Stories Challenge. Her creative nonfiction has appeared most recently in The Malahat Review. In 2015, she was chosen as an emerging writer for The Banff Centre for the Art's Indigenous Writing program. She lives and writes in Brantford, Ontario, where she's currently working on a feature screenplay and a book of short stories about indigenous women.
