Malvern is accepting Not accepting enough to abide by the laws of thieves As they drown in shallow morals Not accepting enough to tolerate the shouts of bullets as they rush through cold hollows of metal guns Not accepting enough to withstand being ridiculed by those blinded with ignorance and brainwashed by media But accepting enough to respect an array of music; Whether it be the intricate rhymes and distinct beats ringing in rap To the catchy repeated lyrics in pop Accepting enough to savour the unique tastes hidden within spoonfuls of various dishes originating from different countries Accepting like the warmth resonating from a melting pot As different races and cultures blend together to create one community; My community The community that is accepting Malvern

Traveling Man
The essence of my soul travels many constellations Seeking many destinations Traveling eternally on planes my brain cannot comprehend Seen worlds in which my eyes will never visualize Experienced life in ways my brain has no hope of recollecting The essence of my soul has spoken the languages That my tongue could not even whisper From voices my ears cannot pick up In dialects my mind couldn't begin to translate Yet my soul always understood The essence of my soul is a greater being than my physical self A warrior whose strength cannot be measured in the physical sense A sage whose wisdom transcends eternity An angel whose light blinds the eye A demon residing in the darkest crevices of the heart The essence of my soul Travels outside of time as I travel within it in perfect unison And millennium after I'm reclaimed by this earth The essence of my soul remains the traveling man Coasting the universe
Bio Poem
I am from steak marinated for days tender and juicy grilled through all the way. I am from war where family crests were worn and a great Scottish general who lives no more. I am from snow and wind shields with ice 3 inches thick and 30 below nights. I am from silent and peaceful days playing though summer till fall comes my way.
Pay No Mind
Too many times We are hurt By the words Of others. Constantly being Criticized by People who don’t Know who we truly Are. Being judged by What people see On the Outside. Making rude remarks While we walk by Them. Judging before they Get to see whom We are on the Inside. We can’t avoid This from Happening. But we shouldn’t Let it affect us As long as we Know that Deep inside, we aren’t Doing anything wrong. Remind yourselves that There are people who Took the time to See who we really are. There are people who Love us and don’t Judge us by What they See.
Advice
Why be someone else When there’s no better person at being you than yourself Why change yourself for other peoples’ sake When you’ll be nothing more than a fake Why would you stress over your imperfections When there is no such thing as perfection Why cry about the crude statements When you’re in charge of your own development Why be a reproduction When you could be limited edition Why turn into someone new When many will love you for being you
Do Not Take Criticism Too Far
I have a tendency, to take things too seriously I get hot-headed easily; any small spark can set me off like a bomb. I over think every little thing and my mind inflates with worry. The sharp tongues of mean-spirited people pierce through my heart with ease. I am a sensitive girl. My mother used to be like me. She tells me not to take those kinds of things to heart. She tells me that the criticism from others is irrelevant. That those kinds of people are just like leeches, Who feed on the red-sweet wine of youth. She tells me to fill your body with optimism and confidence But empty it of negativity, remorse and self-doubt. And when the leeches try to dig their teeth into your flesh, They curl up and die of starvation.
